Humans can take and use many different methods to improve the status of the Tundra. People can switch to alternative sources for energy to minimize human-made global warming. This is mainly caused by the fumes released by cars, trucks, trains, factories, homes and more. Minimizing these could help reduce global warming which can positively impact the tundra. This could be done by carpooling with a friend or riding your bike to school. This could also be done by having safer factories that don’t release toxins and carbon into the air. Another way humans can positively impact the Tundra is by protecting the areas of the Tundra. This can be done by limiting the number of people, tourist, and residents in the Tundra. When buildings and roads are placed on the surface of the Tundra, the permafrost is altered. The different damages caused by vehicles and machinery in the area can easily be avoided by staying out. People can also save the Tundra by picking up trash and litter around us. This litter that we see today can eventually travel around the world and into the Tundra biome, which can harm the environment. Most of this pollution is through the soil, groundwater, and air. Researchers can also positively impact the environment. This could be done to prevent major events such as a species going extinct or the ice melting in the tundra. The researcher can provide information on what to do next and how to handle the situation. Lastly, we take to preserve the Tundra area from humans. In little to less time, humans can cause a lot of trouble. This can be prevented by not letting humans into some or most areas of this biome. These are some ways humans can positively affect the status of the Tundra.
